History has been made... We have just had our very first order from The Ruby Orchard in the Midlands Meander and will be supplying their very pretty shop with some of our wooden decor boards.

Set in Howick, Kwa Zulu Natal, The Ruby Orchard is a beautiful shop filled with everything vintage and new. This shop boasts British kitchenware, vintage style glassware, Emma Bridgewater products and lovely tea towels and aprons designed by Hope and Greenwood. If you are needing to get your loved one's a gift then this is the shop for you. Or if you simply want to treat yourself, you'll find what you want all in a pretty space.

Wonder Market and I Heart Market.

We had a successful two weeks at the markets... first we were at the Wonder Market in Umhlanga. It was a chilly day with the weather but that didn't affect us. We were there with all our new products. It was a great time of connecting with other traders and creating awareness about who we are.

This Saturday we got to go to the lovely I Heart market in Durban at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. The sun was out and we had plenty of visitors and a few buys. Thanks to all who came out to support us! Follow us next as we go to the Litchi Orchard Market in Salt Rock.

Our Wedding

This is how our business started. 

Nick proposed to me and three months later we were to have our wedding. Me... being the fussy pants that I am- wanted decor exactly how I could see it in my mind. Luckily for me I have a super crafty Dad who loves making anything and has worked with wood for many years. My parents and I set out to hand-make it all - from the wooden hearts hanging above the dance floor to all the wooden signs.

At the wedding, everyone was instagramming this decor and asking where we got it. And it was then that we realized we may have a feasible business on our hands. So we simply decided to start a little business by hand-crafting wooden decor.
